
On March 14,
2004, the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America, Inc. (UCCA)
applied for membership in the Ukrainian Cultural Center of
New Jersey. Making the presentation on behalf of the Morris
County Branch to Fr. Roman Mirchuk and Orest Kucyna
(Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Building Committee) are
(from left to right) Antin Bilanych (Branch Press Liason),
Michael Koziupa (Branch Vice President) and Jerry Kuzemczak
(Branch President).
UCCA is a
non-partisan, not-for-profit organization that has
represented the interests of America's ethnic Ukrainians for
over sixty years. Its membership is broad-based, including
corporation heads, academics, students and retirees.
On that
same day, the NJ State Council of UCCA also applied for
membership in the Ukrainian Cultural Center. Presenting the
check to Fr. Roman Mirchuk are: (front row left) Iwan
