In January 2004,
The Ukrainian Heritage and Language School of Morris County,
known as "Ridna Shkola", applied for membership in the Ukrainian
Cultural Center of New Jersey. Standing from left to right are

Ridna Shkola
plans on relocating its Saturday morning educational program to
the Cultural Center. The goal of the Ukrainian School is to
preserve the Ukrainian language and culture of our forefathers.
The subjects taught include the Ukrainian language, both spoken
and written, literature, history, geography, and culture.
Religious instructions are provided also.
In addition, the
members of the executive board of Ridna Shkola made an initial
membership pledge in the amount of $120,000 to be applied toward
the Ukrainian Cultural Center Building Fund.
