In February 2004, the Ukrainian American Youth Organization "CYM" applied for membership in the Ukrainian Cultural Center of New Jersey. Presenting the application to Fr. CYM's programs promote the principles of Christian ethics and pride in the Ukrainian national heritage. Their objective is to nurture and educate youth in the spirit invoked by the ideals "God and Ukraine". The youth chapters meet weekly participating in programs, which include discussion groups, sports, singing, arts, crafts, and field trips. Lectures and special interest groups enable youth to broaden their knowledge in areas such as Ukrainian history, geography, literature, and traditions.
