The Ukrainian American Cultural Center of New Jersey is located in a stunning, brand new, 24,000 square foot building in Whippany, NJ.  The Cultural Center’s purpose is to provide facilities for the preservation of Ukrainian heritage and culture, and to promote and conduct educational and social programs for persons of Ukrainian descent and for the community at large.

In less than two years of operation, the Cultural Center has become a significant focal point of Ukrainian American life in New Jersey, and is becoming a beacon for the Ukrainian American community in the United States.  At present, nearly twenty member organizations offer cultural, sports, scouting, social, medical, educational, women’s, and spiritual programs to approximately 2,500 participants each month.  Many Morris County organizations also host events and programs at the Cultural Center weekly.

Our project is only 50% complete.  Now that our doors are open, facility rental and program management have become equally as important as fundraising.  We are actively raising funds to become self sufficient and allow the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church to break ground on what will be an architectural icon in Whippany, NJ.  The archdiocese has supported the construction of the Center to serve the needs of the non-religious organizations of the community.  The Center also houses a temporary chapel for the St. John parish members who are eagerly waiting for their new church.  Please call 973-585-7175 to book your events, gym time and meeting rooms.  Our Reception Hall can accommodate up to 250 guests with a large dance floor.
